NCC helps students develop discipline, confidence, and
capacity-building qualities through SSCD activities. It teaches them important values like
community development, teamwork, leadership, and patriotism, etc. With the help of various
activities like drills, camps, trekking, and social service, students learn to stay fit,
work together, and help others. NCC also builds confidence and improves their personalities,
which helps them in daily life and future careers. It prepares students to become good and
informed citizens and strong leaders for the nation.
NCC plays an important role in
shaping
the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of development among students with various
SSCD activities to grow into disciplined, confident individuals with good personalities,
character, leadership skills, and community engagement, essential for the future of young
students. The Simdega College NCC unit of Coy - 2/46, Army, subcomes under the 46 Jharkhand
Battalion GUMLA, Group HQ – Ranchi, Directorate - Patna, with a strength of 160.
